Obodo is excited to introduce Beulah Nimene, a graduate student from Liberia working on her doctorate here in the USA. Beulah is one of those people who always searches for ways to make the world a better place. When she was 18, she started a nonprofit in her hometown of Monrovia to support families who could not pay for their children's education ($250 per student for an entire school year). Girls are typically the first family members to go without an education, which severely limits their opportunities when they become adults. Each year Beulah has successfully raised money to send students (mostly girls between the ages of 5 and 19) to school for an entire year. Last year, Beulah raised enough money to send 25 children to school! This year, Obodo is proud to be Beulah's fiscal sponsor as she looks to raise $6,250 to continue the education for these 25 students in the upcoming school year. More details on Beulah's important work can be found here: https://www.mangroveartsafrica.org/ For the remainder of April, we will be raising money for this cause. If you would like to help support these children, you can use the donate button on our website - in the message field, write BEULAH, and we will be sure 100% of your donation goes to supporting these children.
